| Objectives: |
- Provides the knowledge and skills needed to evaluate and manage the first ten minutes of an adult ventricular fibrillation/ventricular tachycardia (VF/VT) arrest
- Providers are expected to learn to manage ten core ACLS cases:
- A respiratory emergency
- Cardiac arrest: simple VF/VT
- Cardiac arrest: complex VF/VT
- Cardiac arrest: PEA
- Cardiac arrest: asystole
- Pre-arrest: bradycardia
- Pre-arrest: stable tachycardia
- Pre-arrest: unstable tachycardia
- Pre-arrest: acute coronary syndromes
