Senate Bill 1546 was recently signed into law by the Governor of
California which will substantially change the regulation of dental
assisting in the future. Implementation of the new RDA specialty
licensure categories will take effect on January 1, 2010. This course
will explain these amendments and how they will affect current
licensure categories, the realm of duties and new educational
requirements for individuals working in the following categories: Dental
Assistant, Registered Dental Assistant, and Registered Dental
Assistants with Expanded Functions
