Recently, the office here at Barton University got a phone call. It was the manager of a local charter boat rental company. It seems that they were expecting an upcoming inspection and he had just realized that the staff that were going to captain the chartered boats were all supposed to have CPR licenses approved by the American Heart Association. The owner needed to get his staff into a CPR class quickly.

We had a class coming up in a couple of weeks, but the owner needed the certifications before Barton University’s class date. We agreed to put on a special class just for the owner and his staff.

At Barton University, you don’t have to be on our schedule. We can hold classes when they’re convenient for you. We can hold CPR or First Aid classes at your business or church or meeting place.  As was the case in this instance, we can even put together a class on very short notice, if that’s what you need.

The summer is now well underway, but many organizations are still getting into the swing of their summer seasons. Don’t let regulations get away from you. Keep on top of your necessary certifications, and if you need your certifications to be brought up to date, let us know. If we have a scheduled class that you need, you can join.
